    The Artist

     Fluid phrases and liquid verse

    The way he builds his universe

    Conveying his words in colors and strokes

    From his core beliefs to life anecdotes

     

    His quills tipped with horsehair

    Are caressed to lay his soul bare

    His inks on a pallet not held in a well

    The choices of hue his story will tell

     

    Study his story to know the man

    Decipher his code, understand if you can

    Read closely to see his words inside words

    The image created delights and disturbs

     

    His words are images on canvas displayed

    With beliefs and convictions clearly portrayed

    He is a writer who leads along trails

    He is the artist of eloquent tales

    As I reread this God ( Jesus ) the Holy Spirit started speaking to me..... He said this poem was truly about Him and His word ( Jesus ) who was manifested into the flesh then anointed by the Holy Spirit after He was baptized by John......... The Father sure did paint a beautiful picture in His word and made so many dreams come true and is still working miricals today as I get to see some of them I always get left awe struck....... and this piece of art that you created with the talent He blessed you with just blessed Him even more... ty for sharing.... red/ aka justme69

    A great poem that paints a picture of a poet and tells how to understand the art and heart of the poet. You have several phrases in this poem that are awesome. This is a great tribute to all of the poets who read it. God Bless BikemanRJ
