Taken
Sweet of voice
Soft in countenance
A grown innocence
Taken all too young
A smile for all
A drive for the goal
A heart full of care
Silenced before life’s dusk
A want for good
A slightly awkward style
Open arms
Mind set strong
Closed no more can enter
Things remembered
Never to grow dark
The smile lives on
To light with recounting.
