Take my Hand
By night's hypnotic gaze i have been lead away.
Into the depths of the darkness unknown.
Dreams so long forgoten rise up from there graves,
and dance with me beneath the sunless skies.
Tears no longer serve a purpose and simply wisp away.
Here no longer can the light torment my soul.
Here no longer can the sun destroy my fragile hopes.
Here there is no god to cast damnantion upon me,
for the impurities of my soul.
No longer must I hide beneath the earth,
Buried beneath my own demons.
Take my hand here in this wondrous darkness,
Free of judgment,
Free of self inflected suffering.
Thou no longer can you walk beneath the suns light,
I will walk with you amoungst the stars of eternity.
And nothing will take us apart,
No god to damn us,
No sun to destroy our fragile lives and hopes,
Nothing but the mysteries of the darkness,
Nothing but the love I hold for you,
And the dreams I would trade eternity to fulfill.
So take my hand my lost love,
And dance with me amongst the starry skies,
Leaving forever the Light of day and judgment of god.
