Poem Commentary

Thoguhts on the moments that last forever.

Sweet Winds

Sweet winds of summers forgotten,
Carrying on them rememberances of the past.
Lost dreams like flower petals in the wind,
Softly floating ever onwards towards the horizon.
The sweet smell of jasmine in the air
calling you ever onwards towards the unknown.
Wile childhoodmemories play in the grass and dance beneath the trees.
Moments of golden reflection,
Lasting but  moments,
But forever changing our souls.
These are the sweet winds of summers forgotten and summers to be.
These are the winds of childhood myth and fantasy,
Forever blowing in the souls of serenity.

This is cool, I like it, it surely makes the reader remember their lives in the summer, ty WS

Another beautiful poem! I know that if you write this well that you must have more than just 2 poems to your credit. I'd like to encourage you to include more of your work here so that we may all enjoy! :) One thing I want to ask about, though. In the line that says 'But forever changing our souls,' do you think it may make more of your point to say 'Yet forever...'? Sorry, just got caught on a word. If you agree then I'm glad to help and if I'm being picky, just tell me to cut it out. ;) I sometimes forget that although I am looking for some critiques that not everyone is. And please, either way, consider including more of your work! I'd love to read it!

i still see it as but forever , my gramar might be off thou =) althou yet does fit . i rarly make revisions most of my work is stream of thought . and i love comments ither negtive or postive . writing to me is like any art we make mistakes and it helps us grow as people . no two styles are the same as no two thoughts are the same when i write i simply let it control me so i dont revise beause i might lose the orginal thought , but poitning things like that out help by changeing perhaps future thoughts and ideals. and i plan to add more i am just slow =)

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
