Emperor of Forsaken Hopes and Forgten Dreams

A stand alone,
A lord of the unending night.
My kingdom ,
A shattered cathedral of hopes and dreams.
Things to precious to let go,
Things to painful to hold.
Beneath an ebony moon that sheds no light,
I sit upon a throne of sorrow and tears,
Adorned with  the blood of innocence,
 cast aside in carnal lust.
My only companion A love I can not forsake,
Alas hold her in my arms I can not.
Only by the grace of an ebony moon,
Can I hold her in my sight once more.
But to see her face once more,
all the hopes of tomarrow I will forsake,
All my dreams of what was to be are forgotten.
All that remains is the silence of sorrow
And the soft ach of love no more.
So here i will stay,
The Emperor of forgotten dreams and forsaken hopes.

Troy the Emperor brought tears to my eyes; what touches the heart, reaches the heart; There's a lot of depth in your silent sorrow. Wishing you peace, love and good health. Keep dreaming cause eventually dreams do come true.

Troy my friend, check out this beautiful song, "Lost Dreams To A New Beginning" www.experiencefestival.com/dream_symbol_new_beginning If one can still dream the opportunities continue to be endless; a new awaking that as long as we never give up there is light, love and enlightment. There is light within the darkness, for the pupils opening even wider to take in what we may not see in the bright of lightness...enlightment. Remember our burdens can become our blessings, if we become awakened pupils and stewards of our dreams. Many are challenged, they live full of life at deaths door; while others live at death's door full of life. The door is open as long as one can still dream - to open doors to dreams coming true...never never give up you have much to offer and many dreams yet to come true. Peace

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
