My lovely Demon
Alone in the Darkness I search,
Always seeking something ,
Lost within a world of Shattered images and forsaken desires.
I cry out ,
But there is no answer.
I offer up my blood in the chalice of salvation,
But there is no salvation for the likes of me.
For with my own hands have I accepted damnation,
And with my own lips I have partaken of its gifts.
But still I cry out to the night for salvation,
I beg for the mercy and comfort of oblivion eternal.
Alas I know Oblivion will never take such a tainted soul as mine.
So here and now my lovely demon let me taste of your tender lips,
And at last find my confort within my own darkness.
And find the side of my soul that yearns for that which is forever unspoken,
And accept I am The darkness which I fear and the damnation which I once condemned.
Finally here with my lovely demon as my own in the darkness I have found comfort,
I have found a peace more profound than the waters of oblivion and kinder than any gods salvation.
