Take it away

What if I close my eyes and think it’s a dream; do you think I can’t feel the pain that makes me so weak? The pain that I carry, the pain that no one can understand. The one feeling that is set in my heart, the one that you cant take away. If you tell me that you love me, all I can do is frown, for that I know in my heart it won’t make a sound. The sound of love when it hits you in the heart. the sound of butterflies as they flutter about.  You didn’t hurt me; you broke me into pieces I cannot explain. Missing each other might not have been fun, but I rather chose that than being dumped like a bum. So much for the love, so much for my heart. What about the stuff you told me, did that ever accrue to you that it might sound like a lie. Know that you hurt me I don’t want to explain. Just give me back my life, but please keep this pain.
