Sun, Wind and Moon

    Sun, Wind and Moon

I dreamed I was your lover

Gazing down on you like the Sun

    The brush of my lips

was as the soft kiss of dawn

    playing upon your face

    Your drowsy, crooked smile

    quickens my heart apace

I would surrender this fragile body

    and become the table

that daily enjoys the sweet caress

    of your fingertips

    or your Murakami coffee cup

    that holds your precious lips

I dreamed I was your lover

    Whispering like the River Wind

My fingers are as the breeze

that ripples and slides through your hair

    Lingering upon your cheek

How they desire to remain there!

I dreamed I was your lover

Watching over you like the Moon

My arms are the velvet light

that takes you in a gentle and warm embrace

    while you sleep

    while you dream

Hope this wasn't just a dream but beautiful reality. You are a good poet and I love your sliding velvet touch.

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
