Poem Commentary

This is a random poem that came to my head.  No, this is not about anyone.

"Foolish mortal"

I've dug you a grave,
it's cold and shallow.
Just like you.
I put it next to the forest,
maybe a wolf will find you?
I brood at the thought,
you're not good enough to be wolf food.
Remember what they told you?
Hurt me...
And you die.

They burried your body in the hole,
my insane friends of course.
Laughing hysterically,
dancing on your grave in celebration.
Burn in hell some chimed in laughter,
and don't expect your happily ever after!

I really like this poem i'm not sure why but it's a good balance between slightly amusing and a twist on reality

Thank you for your support.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
