    A drowned maiden's hair

    Lungs burning,
    legs kicking,
    eyes crying,
    no air,
    no life,
just another limp body on the edge of the water,
    a battle that was lost,
    morning over the loss,
but all anybody knows her as,
    is,
    a drowned maiden's hair.
