Painting
And she paint,A not so pretty picture in her mind
One that you and I will never see
An amazing sight inside her head
To find a way in will be hard,
To find a way out is impossible.
She's an idiot,
A lost cause.
Though she tries
She can never please anyone.
Even if she is successful,
It's an "Auto Fail"
"Stop doing for others and do for yourself."
"When are you gonna stop thinking of only you?"
Confusion shoots across her face
Followed by intense pain.
Never praise nor pride,
Only hurt to hide.
She hides away inside herself
Fearing what knocks at her door.
Afraid her voice will fail,
She opens the door.
He's mad,
Mom's crying,
She's lying,
Close to death
Wishing it would come
She's lying,
On the bed
She can't fight back.
He holds her in a loving imbrace,
Tells her she's his girl.
She screams on the inside,
Trying to get out,
Clawing at her shell.
Putting on a mask,
Pretending that she's fine.
