    Poem Commentary

    im not very religious, nor was i then, so i don't know where this came from. maybe it has to due with my eternal search for strength.

    My Prayer

     Dear Lord,
    Grant me the strength to do,
    What must be done,
    To say what must be said,
    To leave but not run.
    Allow the wind to give me wings,
    So that I may finally fly free.
    Permit the sun to give me warmth,
    For the strength that I shall need.
    The task that lay before me is difficult,
    But I know that you Lord are true.
    So please bestow the wisdom i need upon me,
    To do what I must do.
