    My Place

    I was a lost soul
    Trying to find my place in this world
    Stumbling over every step
    Bleeding from my core

    A darkness blocked my way
    Forcing me to turn around
    My back was turned but I froze
    Froze from the sight before me

    His smile was quite breathtaking
    All my profound worries melted away
    He held his hand out to me
    I reached out and followed

    I felt safe for the first time
    I actually felt like I belonged
    This beloved boy brought light into my dark life
    I realized I'd finally found my place in this world
