Don't Worry About Me
Don't worry about me,
I've been hurt before.
The cuts could be deep,
But I will survive.
Your words may stab my heart,
Like a sharp sword or knife.
But don't worry about me,
I've been hurt before.
I may cry for days on end,
And feel like I'm going to die.
I am not sufficating,
It's my choice of relief.
It's happened to me so many times
But still I never learn.
Don't keep the truth from me,
That's one thing I dislike the most.
You may think I'm fragile and would consider to lie.
However, don't worry about me,
I've been hurt before and it's not going to be the last.
I've been hurt before.
The cuts could be deep,
But I will survive.
Your words may stab my heart,
Like a sharp sword or knife.
But don't worry about me,
I've been hurt before.
I may cry for days on end,
And feel like I'm going to die.
I am not sufficating,
It's my choice of relief.
It's happened to me so many times
But still I never learn.
Don't keep the truth from me,
That's one thing I dislike the most.
You may think I'm fragile and would consider to lie.
However, don't worry about me,
I've been hurt before and it's not going to be the last.
