    My own Paradise (i left)

When the thunder booms and the lightning blasts,
    that's my paradise.
When the rain floods and the wind howls,
    that's my paradise.
my paradise is his pet pieve and his pet pieve is my paradise.
we are different, and that is why i left. she was right for him, i am not.

True, simple, no hard feelings. It's nice it ended that way, being the victim of the opposite. thanks for posting

very good poem. sometimes its best to walk away from love.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
