    He Left Me Alone

It seems like just yesterday we were laughing, and telling jokes and going to the pool together. What happened to those times? Something happened.
He left me alone. Just left me standing there with nothing to say. He just got up, and walked away! He left me alone.
The days turned to weeks, and the weeks turned to months. Then the months, turned to years.I have no idea what happened.
He left me alone. Just left me standing there with nothing to say. He just got up, and walked away! He left me alone.
As time went on, and the depression worsened i began to escape to my own world. my own heaven. Where no one can penetrate the hard shell i have created for myself. Who are friends? When did he leave? How long has it been? I know what happened.
He left me alone. Just left me standing there with nothing to say. He just got up and walked away! He left me alone.

Queen 09: about your prose poem "he left me alone" I think a space between you breaks would give it a strong look on the page. and more space would allow the reader some pauses within the reading. Just a thought. A Poet Friend: RH Peat

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.
