My Happiest Moment
The swing set looks so empty
But is a memory that I can see
I remember it so vividly as day
Something I will cherish every day
I was driving, leaving for the night
Three passengers with me in the light
I drop off my friend, his last time
Here with us this summer night's time
He left us though with a smile on
He gave u a humor that is never gone
He jumped and panicked about a bug
But even so he gave us all one last hug
Not to be seen again till the end
Of summers time, his home he must attend
Next, to the south I drove on
To drop off a girl to her front lawn
Having a laugh about what had just been done
Us three who were left enjoying the fun
I come to a stop in front of the house
Of my second friend. Now onto the finial house
These next eight minutes gave me a smile
A smile that had lasted for quite a while
Just me and her, alone to her house now
We were early, what should we do now
We have twenty more minutes alone
Take her home or time of our own
I pull into a park by her home
Out of the car we begin to roam
Towards the swing set to have a talk
Nothing of importance but a lively talk
Back and forth she slightly moved
I slowly began to feel moved
We talked and talked that night
I even told about my worse fright
I felt so comfortable, so very happy
Even she, too, had seemed happy
Time had flown, I took her home
NO more time for us to talk or roam
I walk her up and give her a hug
I soon left with a happy mug
I remember that night so very clear
It is a memory that won't disappear
It has been sometime since that moment
But it is forever my most cherished moment

A happily lonely man never knows what lonely is
For he has lived alone everyday quite happily
One cannot tell this man that he is sad and lonely
For loneliness is the only thing he did only see
The lonely man however soon is not alone now
He actually has put himself closer to another
He nows has feelings slightly different now
Yet almost similar to those towards his mother
The man is happy with another person here
He feels more uplifted than before this
You can still not tell him though he was lonely
But what will you say when he loses bliss
The man, he lost the closeness with the person
He is now the lonely man once again but not
Now one can say he is lonely to him in the face
He knows loneliness now, forget it he will not

There is this girl that I like from a distance
I want to ask her out, but there is such resistance
My mind may feel set but my body won't move
How can I approach her I ask, how to make the first move
Athletic, smart, friendly, she's fun to be around
But alas I am shy, my body feels like it is bound
I don't even know if she likes me back though
Maybe that's why I am bound, but even so
I want to let this girl know how I feel
And break this bind and strike a deal
A deal with myself to just go up and tell
Tell her that she is the girl that I fell

I am sad, I feel empty now
I feel a pain that I can never allow
I felt that I could be at ease
If I tried to forget about you it would cease
But all it did was bring more pain
My heart is drenched in sorrow’s potent bane
I have a favor to ask of you
And I pray it is something you will do
Continue reading this poem for me
I want you to look at these words and see
I am crying out to you with my might
Even now when you seem so far out of sight
Just by reading this whole poem is enough
I would still hold out and still be tough
If we could start a new start
Then this pain my even leave my heart
So thank you for reading my poem
Maybe you can respond with another poem

Rumble and tumble. Hustle and bustle
Torque out all the work, straining the muscle
Every day we work hard to achieve
Each day we work hard for what we believe
Stress, failure, and fatigue our bitter end
But at the end, our energy will mend
Fight the fight, fight for your own victory
Fame, achievement, love, your own history
In the end, let us always keep a smile
Soak up the reward of work for this mile
*working title, suggestions are welcomed*

WOOHOOO I have 50+ plus poems and 51 of them are for sure going to a contest. If anyone has kept up with some of my poems (i think like 4 need to be put on fb still) then i would like which 5 poems of mine (doesnt have to be 5, it could be more or less but at least one) you like the most so i can consider a good place to put them in my manuscript. I thank everyone for there support (if given), for reading my poems, and for even reading this note lol.
