MY FATE

MY FATE

I am at a crossroad, a road dealing with my future load
It is a choice that i must make, wings or fire is my new born fate
Which choice is best for me, and where do I belong in here, just where
Two paths, light and darkness, either serenity of full of hate
What have I done, what did I do to be put in this shocking state
--------------I must decide my fate

There is one person I wish to be with, but won't ever be true
I could choose serenity, the path filled with great love and not hate
Even with love, I would spread my wings and have to leave her, "Goodbye"
She would reach towards the skies for me, but it would be far too late
I would have left her, never to see me but without any hate
--------------Do I want this "white" fate

Then there is the path of shadow, despair, full of darkness and low
I would destroy all, leave everything, take all of this great weight
My heart would be heavy and I would once again leave her to cry
She would cry and cry, fall to her knees and cry, left in all my hate
I would leave searching for meaning yet remain in this ugly state
--------------Do I want this "dark" fate

both fates are sad and yet both are true, both will give me burning scar
But both are not what I want. Its time for me to retaliate
I must begin to make a new. A new path where skies are clear blue
This would be my path to take, time for me to plan and to create
I have found this path before me, just me and her, my one true mate
--------------I want this "golden" fate

I was hooked on the first paragraph. But you lost me on the second and third. I was a bit confused about you leaving her in both fates. Then you tied it up in the fourth paragraph which was nice. (: Still I must be an amateur reader since I had to reread it a couple of times. ;_; Good job though.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
