My Depthless Love
My Depthless Love
The moon has always been
A silvery promise of love
Today, moonbeams tremble upon the tide,
While night, cloaked in silence,
Breeds a hushed expectancy,
A soft sensual delusion of varied beauty
Your eyes are calm pools
Where I see humbling depths of acceptance
A kindness, like moonlight on deep water.
Come my love, my depthless love,
My love, as depthless as the sky above
Gaze up to the silent deep
Our love, you’ll find, will always keep
As the sea rolls naked, black, unstoppable,
The cold night breathes with life.
The moon shines down so visible
On my love, my depthless love, my wife.
