Meow
Black fur,
tail, flicking , writhing
in the air.
Run,
she runs
on soft padded paws,
swiping at the air,
just a glimpse
of a feather,
or a claw.
She loves
unconditionally,
telepathically .
Leap,
branch to branch,
through the fence.
Why
cannot I
enjoy that freedom,
that easy,
fast paced way?
tail, flicking , writhing
in the air.
Run,
she runs
on soft padded paws,
swiping at the air,
just a glimpse
of a feather,
or a claw.
She loves
unconditionally,
telepathically .
Leap,
branch to branch,
through the fence.
Why
cannot I
enjoy that freedom,
that easy,
fast paced way?
