    Poem Commentary

This poem was written to a woman and just in general. Its pretty much self explainatory. I hunger for the love of a relationship and a good woman, not a one night stand so to speak.

    Love

For what I require is not in the swing of your hips or the feel of your lips. Or neither in the center of your waist or quiver of your thighs. Not some feature on your physical appearence. Although a man falls prey to lustful features of a woman, that can only satisfy my curiosity temporaily.
After the climax is over, can I stare into your eyes and say your beautiful? If not, keep your sex fantasy, for it feeds the body. Not the soul. Give me what I hunger for, what I was born for...LOVE

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
