LIFE'S HIGHWAY

LIFE'S HIGHWAY

As we travel life’s highway down here, sometimes hard, sad and bad,
But with Jesus holding to our hand, we will make it until we reach the end…

Tho the hill may be steep, and the valley may be deep, and the river is so wide, while the waves are dashing high, but with Jesus, we will make it to the other side…

No matter how rough life’s road may be, nothing can stop me, because I’ve been set free. When we reach heaven’s door, no looking back, to life’s highway any more.

To enter heaven, through gates of pearl, the golden street, I’ll walk on forever more.

To be with Jesus, my love ones and friends, walking the golden streets hand in hand…

Hi Lois, this is a beautiful poem!!! As long as we have King Jesus by our side, then everything will work out alright. We just have to keep the faith, by standing on His Word. Thank you so much for sharing. Also, I would like to invite you to share some of my work. I too enjoy writing about God. Be blessed!!!!

Hi Clementinewoods, for your heartfelt comment. Yes, we can do all thing through Christ Jesus. His Word says, I will never leave or never forsake you, what a promise. We know God's promises are true. The Joy of the Lord is our strength. This world will pass away, but God's Word is forever settled in Heaven....What a mighty God we serve. God of all comfort! I will check out your site, I know I will enjoy reading your work, all good news I read about our God is wonderful. God bless you with a great day in Him, with Love, Joy and Peace.........

Thank You Zandy, for your heartfelt comment. God bless now and always.....

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
