HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS
As I awake to this beautiful morn
Thinking, Happy Birthday Jesus
This is the day that you were born
The greatest gift that could ever be given
When God gave you, His Son
So we could be forgiven
For a purpose you were sent
To this little town called Bethlehem…
God knowing all, what was ahead
No room in the Inn for you to be born
But in a stable, manger of hay
Was Joseph, Mary and Jesus so sweetly lay
Remind us all, never forget the real meaning of Christmas…
But often times we may forget
As we get caught up with the swift
As everyone is running from store to store
Tying to find the right gift once more
If we’d only pause for a while
And think beyond with a smile
It’s not what we all buy
But that precious gift who is so nigh…
Thank you Lord for that day
You stopped for me while on your way
One day soon I shall see, the one who was born
In a manger of hay
Who came and died and bled for me
Was buried and arose on the third day…
There was no room for Him in the Inn
But lets make room in our hearts for Him, before the end
So Happy Birthday Jesus
From all of us once again…
