To indulge in your happiness
I'll have meaning.
I delight myself
Watching your life
What a beautiful girl,
you are.
I endorse meaning
within your life.
I swallow your wants
To conclude with your dreams.
I'll uncover the difficulties to allow
your desires to have purpose.
I live for you,
more than a sister,
you are
Me and our mother
You are our life.
For your life allows me to have reason
All thats heaven I see in your innocence.
Protection I'll give you under my wounded wing.
Pieces of puzzles
Are pieces of me and you.
That I make into a collage.
My spirits are lifted
because of you.
We breath happiness with each other
as sisters we are forever friends.
Always remember
that,
I love you,
my beautiful sister,
Katie.

It's very cool to see through your words, the warm depth of your affection. Very nicely done : )

Thanks for your comment. I actually wrote that poem 10 years ago when my sister was 8. Time flies by.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
