Blissful

I don't want to take anything from you,
I only want to give to you.
The way that growth is given to flowers after
a rainfall of sunshine.
My extreme happiness is a myth to you,
Only because you lack the understanding of security.
You tell me to purr like a cat
And release pleasurable moments of anxiety.
My possession of you lies within your stare,
and captures your smile as it gives me permission to
be your muse.
No human being can stand in a fire and not be consumed.
My hand rested in yours with trust and relief.
What we to do?
Can love develop within short time and establish
special recollections with long quantities of moments?
By living in the unrealistic present, I too will believe.
That blissful times are held within memories.

You really show the beauty of who you are in your opening statement. "I don't want to take anything from you, I only want to give to you." This is pure unselfish love and in it self a blissful statement. But then you follow it up with a powerful visual "The way that
