He Stood In The Shadows

Jack...
His name was as dark as Hell,
he’s back...
With horror stories to tell,
he actually found himself seeking light,
but carefully, oh so carefully,
because for him night was just right,
he stood in the shadows,
his heart gray,
nothing to say,
and with your life he’ll play,
because everyone to him seemed dismal,
he shuddered and drew his cape,
on his belt, rope and tape,
ready for an attack,
brutal once again, my friend,
because Jack is back.
