    Exhilarating Freedom

His body had an exhilarating freedom,
    no deficiency,
    no blemishes,
    smooth as a new born,
    almost like an illusion,
    an after thought,
    an everlasting impression,
    a secret confession
    of perfection,
    God called him Adam,
    the boy stared back,
as if God had something he lacked,
but God didn’t know what to believe,
he thought for a moment, smiled,
    then he created Eve.
