The Silence Was Unnerving
Every time they would attack she’d find
their intent on manipulating Human-Kind,
this was the first time
she was facing down,
six vampire warriors while standing her ground,
she had watched her friends’s failure
to cut the vampires down,
with a significantly feeling of sinking,
as the vampires continued drinking,
humans reeling,
falling back,
from the violent un-dead’s attack,
her first attempt had failed,
her foot soldiers bailed,
left her alone to die fast,
as seconds seem to hurry past,
the silence was unnerving,
and her emotions didn’t last,
she fell apart,
and to the darkness,
she relinquished her heart.
