    My most recent poem, from 10/24/11. For and about my boyfriend. I love him so <3

    He Cares.

     He.
    He cares.
    He comforts.
    He.
    He hugs.
    He kisses.
    He cares.
    He doesn't judge.
    He doesn't lie.
    He.
    He doesn't fake.
    He doesn't pretend.
    He cares.
    She cares.
    He cares about her,
    She cares about him.
    He's.
    The first.
    The first to really care.
    He stops her tears before they fall,
    because he cares.
    Because she's his.

    I like the poetic devices used in this poem, internal rhyming and consonance with some creative enjambment (you must be getting some training by WordSlinger). This is amazing! Potential winner for the week.

    But thanks xD I don't think I've ever rewritten a poem in my entire life, but this one....xD It was a mess

    Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
