Coco_Nut
Coconuts are the hardest fruits to crack
They’ll spin you round no matter how hard you whack
The coconut will bust and its juices spew
Tasty yes, but is its meat meant for you?
No way to tell as the coconut lies
On its back with its hairy, white, fibrous eyes
A contradiction in disguise
Petty are its layers, forgiving in sweet surprise
One coconut for me, this time I hacked it in two
Split, the fruit lies, dripping with dew
Meshed between the coarse strings tough
Coconut may say it has had enough
With one touch
It will turn and spit
More juice in my eye
And at last its pitless pit
They’ll spin you round no matter how hard you whack
The coconut will bust and its juices spew
Tasty yes, but is its meat meant for you?
No way to tell as the coconut lies
On its back with its hairy, white, fibrous eyes
A contradiction in disguise
Petty are its layers, forgiving in sweet surprise
One coconut for me, this time I hacked it in two
Split, the fruit lies, dripping with dew
Meshed between the coarse strings tough
Coconut may say it has had enough
With one touch
It will turn and spit
More juice in my eye
And at last its pitless pit
