    Blasphemy
    Laughing loudly
    With wandering wilting smiles
    I sweetly surprised myself
    With a trumpet sound
    Lollygagging through the lilipads I leapt
    Swinging on the vines of trees that slept
    Inhaling the indescribable incantation of innocence
    When suddenly,
    Bleeding through bulbous eyes that bewildered saw
    An invitation to the Eternal Whiteness in awe
    So laughing loudly
    With wavering blossoming grins
    I sweetly disguised myself
    With a hellish sound
    Instead

    I'm sad to see that even with my 10, you stand at 8.1. It is hard to believe a poem this good could be get that rating. Perhaps somebody was reacting negatively to the title, and failed to notice the merit of the poem.

    This is an interesting poem, well-written, with a good sense of verbal balance, and with a pleasing diction. It also has some striking images, rhymically expressed, such as "wavering blossoming grins." I am puzzled by the title. I think you should consider a different title. But regardless of the title, this is a 10+ poem, and I am giving it the top rating.

    I find this poem to be a very deep feeling repose. I love the wording and feeling the poet is showing us. The ending of the poem is profound and well noted.
