    Yellow flower petal Questionnaire

    Little yellow flower petal
Resting on a cold metal table
    Did they cut you open?
    Did they take you away?
    Did they hurt you?

    Did they?

How badly did they hurt you?
Did they take away your confidence?
    Your trust?
    Feeling?
    Emotion?
    Verbs, nouns, and adjectives?
How do I know yellow flower petal?

Have they made you feel dirty?
    Lowest being?
    Worthless?
Like you wish your nightmares would come true?
    You don’t belong?
What have they done to you yellow flower petal?

    What have they done?

I’ve been on the cold metal table
    I’ve been cut open
    They reached inside
    Violated
    They ripped out my insides
    And left me hollow
    Like a frog being dissected
I was left empty without a sound uttered

I’ve been a piece of light
    A bit faded
    Alone
As I fell from the sky
I’ve been a yellow flower petal.
