Autumn sunlight

    Autumn sunlight

Dipping low into the autumn sky

    I breathe deeply

To match the breath taking sight

For as long as you like lean into me

    Please, ease your mind

If only I had a key to look inside

May I be able to find whatever lies within

So I can eventually make an impression

On the days I can’t even be with you

Hon, you’ve got my mind wrapped up in sheets

But if one day you will follow me

We could fill your liquid eyes

    I’ll be your guide

If only you’ll travel with me

Back to the depths of the ocean.

honestly, I liked this poem, but for me it was a bit hard to follow... I like the line about "fillig your liquid eyes" beautiful!

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
