    WALK TOWARDS LOVE

how can you remember- any of anything?
i never had the shallow chalk that could write your name next to me
but hey baby if theres 1 thing im good at its poetry

i tip - toed out on our future
i was just a cute lil girl- full of pain- disarranged for a future
especialy anything w/ a boy like you
    familiararity-or hate
mama or papa- makes no diference
    i tip toe- ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh
    ahhhhhhh.....ahhhhhhhhh.aahhhhh
    that feeling of release

watchin my mom slice her own arm salami thin
no brothers always a distant breed
now you wonder- why i try to block out everything
a few hours of the past lead me to here- disammay
    repulse- rage- being perplexed

i truely enjoy walking alone at night
i imagine my son sneeking out the half slutted creeked allyway door
n just what could happen to him- im doing my best
but with no help from the others
but his happiness is all based on me n i understannd that

if poetrys gotta lose a little- 2 gain a little
but ill take his share of the pain
that goes for any friend or lover
because when you give the world opens up
    as we all have

not one of us could ever steal the difference
re-create anything like rox, walk, snacks n lil z
lets stop tip toeoed n letts start walking
    together
    lets start walking towards love

I took a chance on reading this by the title like we all do....... this is a walk I'm on right now.... I walked away from my hateful ways and started loving every one myself again and my Creator, Father Jesus Christ........ thanks for walking with and taking me on a journey and a reminder of the walk I'm on...... red

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
