This Deep Sadness

This Deep Sadness

This deep sadness I feel comes from years of pain. Knowing now that I may never see you again.

I've cried so hard, my eyes are all red, its tears from my heart that are bled. I can't express how deeply I'm hurt, I guess its all swept underneath the dirt.

You say you care but your actions show otherwise. Your words are a sword, they are my demise.  I have tried for years to show you I care, yet your own feelings are all that are there. Nothing I do is ever right, I might as well lay down and give up this fight.

My words may not rhyme and my life may be running out of time...
But before I fall into that final sleep...
I'll dry my eyes and no longer weep.

very strong and soulful write. Your always touches the core of the reader putting them right there with you in the pain, happiness, or the sadness of the piece

Very sad Kristina. Emotions draped over someone who either doesn't return them or withholds out of power, pleasure or pain... Well that really can suck.
