The Tragedienne
If all the worlds a stage, then this, life's curtain call.
The last acts final page, an ending of it all.
Then after the show, those critics and judgmental harsh
reviews. What do those hacks know of tragedy?
So Fuck them and their views!
They weren't there in the hot spotlight of single motherhood.
You brought alive the role with no supporting cast.
You did the best you could.
Then in the end the pills you took to keep you in the play.
Just took your will to live away.
Tragedy becomes reality.
A mournful requiem resounds.
As you exit life's theater, our tears cover the ground.
Goodbye darling.
