The Oath
Let my eyes feast upon the treasuresof your mountains and valleys of love
travelling with pupils of dark pleasure
I shall rest in your arms like a dove
Let my hands explore in blinded wonder
smooth plains, peaked honey mountains
lying upon your grooved valley I ponder
shall I drink the mead of your fountain?
Speechless I shall look at you again
My beloved, the well spring of my life
your ointment poured forth relives pain
in your arms I cease my crazy strife
You are the crown jewel of Solomons mine
My dove, vineyard, garden of Eden
better is your love than a cask of wine
I surrender to your charm that is hidden
My bride, wife, fountain garden and vision
to protect, cherish and love you is my mission
