    Mama

She makes me smile and laugh,
caring for me like a cow for its calf.
I often forget to say please,
merilly she teaches me with ease.
I rarely remember to thank her,
she corrects me with her laugh ha ha ha!
    Always spoiling me,
spanking me when it must be.
    She knows my emotional tide,
there is almost nothing to hide.
She nurses me when Iam sick,
I love to bug her like a tick,
if years past are brought back,
I would rest strapped on her back.

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
