Eternally Yours

Eternally Yours

Why live for a moment, why breath a while
when I could live eternally in your eyes
framed forever in the wall of your smile
where I shall not grow old or die in lies

Why live for today, why worry
when glory lives in your arms
that I fall for you am not sorry
I lie slain in the slaughter of your charms

Why bother for tomorrow, why sorrow
when the sun will stand still in the sky
our joyful victory we shall not borrow
but live a love bouyed by joy whistling a sigh

Why think I, why speak I of this
for you who lives by times and seasons
seek out our Eden, our garden of bliss
live a love without fear, doubt or reason
Arise be alive and live forever again
as it was in the beginning without pain

A master stroke!wonderful piece of work coming from a beautiful mind.

Poetry is what gets lost in translation.
