Breath Again
Could such coarse handsbring forth such sweet music
playing the strings of your tunic
heavenly melodies rise we do not understand
Could such stuttering lips
fluently call forth pleasure
drawing out the decibels we treasure
from the grooved fountain of the deep
Could shut eyes dare to see
the face that launched a thousand ships
captured in joyful smile of friendship
dares me to be what I must be
What strange roars I hear
what crimson tides rage
feeble feet wobble shy courage
as I shudder in pleasing fear
at this moment of little death
burried in armed sheets we give birth
to nobel life as we breath again here
