Take My Hand

Poem Commentary

I would rather believe having a chance then to not and find out in the end he was right. I believe.

Take My Hand

Take my hand
Trust me
I'll take you there
In a world where you'll find piece
A world where needs are met

The soft touch of your hand
Reminds me
Of your presence

In the world we facet
Two gems
The pebble of a rose blooms
Like the ruby in stone
Of who I am
I am that I am
Like the yoke of an egg
The trinity within
We are as one
Working together
For you

The foot steps you take
Know that I will walk with you
I will carry your heavy load
If you just trust in me

Look not unto an empty world
You'll find each other in mine
I died so that you may live

You will see again
You will hear sounds of my voice
Music to rejoice
Praises to sing
You will rise up living

Your crippled soul will flourish
Your wounds will be healed
Your heart happy once more
If you believe in me

I believed he took me there
There I found you
With an angel that said
You believed
You had faith
You trusted in him

I think I've danced to this RHAPSODY but only in my dreams. Your poetry of love indicates that you've been there, had the questions and found the answers. You always find just the right words that blend together in rhythmatic harmony. Lol, BDC

Believing in someone, is the strength one needs to carry on through life's walkways..............A nice one again, Betty.............g

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
