    Poem Commentary

    an early poem

    sunrirse and time stood still

The sun rise was loud with orange red.

I heard birds singing from my bed.

Wind blew thru the open door.

Dust rolled across the hard wood floor.

    Time stands still.

    Summer rides a gentle breeze.

Sounds of life fill the tree’s.

Days are lazy hot and long.

Crickets sing a back ground song.

    Time stands still.

A setting sun brings on the night.

The sky is black with stars of white.

Dreams flirt with what’s not real.

Scars of the heart try to heal.

    Time stands still.
