I see every day so many who carry...
a look that screams out... I'm just not happy.
It's true that all days cannot be the best...
But maybe you are putting too much thought on what should matter less.
So many take little time to explore what is great...
and focus instead on the problems they create.
I know how it is...I've been there and done that...
But life is really too short to focus on the... I could have hads.
My smile some may look down on it...
I flash these pearly whites at every possible moment.
Some may ignore it, and turn their cheek...
Thinking what a smart ass I'm trying to be.
I wonder how people have come to assume...
That a smile is something people give to...
hide some mean feeling or thought...or to exploit a feeling they have and you don't.
When I smile at you...all I'm trying to say...is I feel great and I hope you feel the same.
If it is that you are just so smug...that a smile is something that you don't want...then why not keep your eyes to something other...than the people who may just happily wanna...flash a smile towards your way...with intentions of nothing else but brightening your day!!!
