Silent Destruction
I laugh at,
My silent joke,
My smile,
But a cloudy lake,
Acrossed the anger,
The hate,
My intentions rake,
Your joy,
Your love,
Your will to live,
I pull it out,
With my icy touch,
Now you lean on my shoulder,
Your only crutch,
Only to be led,
By my falsified truths,
You think me your friend?
What a joke,
As I lead you into my shrouded hutch,
Upon my arm,
You still clutch,
Thinking I will lead you,
To a safe place to heal,
But only further in,
I reel,
My mind plated,
With a layer of steel,
My eyes covered,
By shaded glass,
My true intentions,
you still don’t see,
The truth that is,
Inside of me.
As you are chained,
To agony’s wall,
I slowly peel away,
Your last strands of hope,
Now you are at your most vulnerable place,
So it is time to remove the disguise,
For now you finally realize,
I am not who you thought I was,
No longer am I,
Your dearest friend,
Around my finger,
You did bend,
All that’s left in you,
Your pain,
Your anger,
Your deepest hate,
Come on you fool!
You’re only second rate!
Bring it on,
Throw it all at me,
It’s what I was all along,
But you don’t see?
The evil secrets that are inside of me.
So come on my friend,
Let loose,
Your monster within,
Give into that anger,
Give into your sin,
As he is released,
From your deepest den,
You will become,
My next of kin.
