Realization 4/21/11

It's been a while since I stopped crying. It's been a while since I stopped wishing you'd come back. It's been a while since I felt a hole where my heart should be. I was falling asleep at night without tears rolling down my face. I no longer wished for you on stars at night. I started to feel this little piece of something where my heart once was. That was until, I accidently came across your picture on my computer. Now, I'm even worse off than I was when you first shattered my heart. Cause I realize now, I'll never be over you...

A touching write that so many have felt and is very well brought forth. Nice Job!

I love this poem. Thanks for all the comments! :)

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
