"New Day"
Today is the day, that I choose to break free,
from this life full of misery, hatred, and greed.
I've made up my mind, to leave it behind,
to never look back, to not change my mind.
I've lived life thus far,
a pitiful fool,
allowing these demons,
to have such control.
No longer the same, a new woman - changed,
can't take one more game, self-given new name.
One step at a time,
a hard road to choose,
so many times failed,
got nothing to lose.
