Night Train
We talked for hoursand hours on end
about the love we shared
Each of us knowing
we didn't want it
to come to and end
As I laid there
with the phone
pressed tightly
against my ear
tears were falling
why aren't you here
I want to feel your heart
beating together with mine
the way it once did
Will it ever be
why don't you
catch the night train
And come back
to where you should be
lying here beside me
