    I Saw an Angel Yesterday

    An angel came to visit me
    she looked straight into my eyes.

    She spoke to me of dangers
    that lurk nearby.

    Keep your eyes wide open
    whenever you are out.

    Be aware of your surroundings
    never let your guard down.

    Life is a mystery
    we live everyday,

    There are many unknowns
    that follow along our way.

    Continue down the path you choose
    let caution be the word you use.

    I saw an angel yesterday
    standing guard so gracefully,

    Her wings she brought to shelter me
    her hands to hold to comfort me.

    I have an angel of my own
    I know I will never walk alone.

    Ah, the words come to me: 'where angels do not fear to tread'. My quote may be wrong but it is my understanding of what our special angels are all about......

    Lovely useof words to describe the love enfolding the heart, when an Angel wraps one within the wings of their protection. Beautiful work.
