I'm Gone
As I stare at the brick wall,
I wonder how life could just fall.
Forever in misery and stuck in pain,
Blinded by lighting and droning in rain.
No one feels this pain I feel.
That’s how I know it’s real.
My dreams of you are haunting,
And thoughts are often taunting.
Sneaking upon any hour, of the day,
Like a predator approaching its prey
Your face and voice will haunt my mind,
Until I’m lost and left behind.
Apparently you don’t care,
About what we could share.
Just forget me until I’m gone,
Or until you realize you were wrong.
