  • I'm gonna be dumping random thangents, thoughts in my mind I just have to let out. I hope no one minds, but thoughts are poetry right?

I Want "X" Because I'm "X"

I want money,
Because I'm poor.

I want fame,
Because I'm nobody.

I want love,
Because I'm alone.

I want cool things,
Because I'm sure not.

I want power,
Because I'm weak.

Yes, I want a lot of things,
It can be seen a greed.
But that's because
A lot of these things,
I really thought I'd need.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
